I want to build on some rocks to counter the wall bug with all A.I. But I need to know what I can attach ropes to. Like foundations and such < > Showing 1-4 of 4 comments sandips1274 View Profile View Posts 23 Mar, 2015 @ 10:17am Rope can attach to large cabin and gazebo (as climbing rope), as well as to tree houses and tree platforms. I'm not sure whether it can be attached to custom foundations though. Construct one of the buildings that has anchor points. Now open the survival guide and go to the fifth page of the Custom Building chapter. Now select the climbing rope. A bunch of anchor icons should have appeared on your building, look at or near them until the game toggles the build selection. Click 'E', then apply a single rope. There is a minimum height for ropes, not sure what that is though, but I've built a gazebo on a strongly elevated platform and had no issues. Means: i built a max-height platform, attached a rope and everything was fine.
