What do I do if Fallout 4 won't launch in full screen?

To launch in full screen, select Options from the Fallout 4 Launcher and make sure the Windowed Mode and Borderless are not checked. It is not possible to toggle full screen mode after launching Fallout 4. This menu also allows you to set the Aspect Ratio, Resolution, as well as other options using information supplied by your system.

  • If you are not able to save these settings, it could be due to your graphic card settings or a mod overriding these options. Make sure to check your GPU settings for Fallout 4 first, if this does not work, try uninstalling mods.
