It needs to be updated to the new FMS file format of Xplane 11.10 and above.So with Simbrief you must export the file to X-plane 11, enter the sim, fire up the FMS and load the flight plan. That plan will be incomplete. You then must finish the plan in the plane's FMS.Little Nav Map will generate an Xplane 11 (requires 11.10 and above) plan that includes Sids and Stars as well as approaches and departures.You load the LittleNavMap plan into the FMS then add fuel and weight calculators and "Exec" (or activate) the plan, then turn on the autopilot and fly.Waypoints can be generated for you by the flight planners or you can add them yourself.It pays to follow the tutorials on how to generate FMS flight plans.One of the things I did not understand at first, was you must treat the flight plans as four separate things you must link together.1 You generate an overal plan with your waypoints. Input Arrival airport3.Input Runway THEN select SID4.Input your waypoints that are along your route5.Select STAR then RunwayTho if u are flying vatsim or n e other online atc service your SID/STAR is subject to change to what you had planned, So i always select star after u get your star clearance from CTR.Or is SIDS/STAR a 3rd party programme i am unaware about? The amount of time Alex gives to us to always keep it up to date. I saw on another forum someone posted to Alex "You need to start charging for this."Alex replied: "Never!" #24

I plan on playing again once I've got a better graphics card, and would likely continue to use Little Navmap. I did also use SimBrief pre-flight to get fuel loads and such for programming flight computers where necessary.
