When 1000-lb Sisters started, Amy Slaton and her sister Tammy Slaton were dangerously obese, collectively weighing 1,000 pounds. Since then, the reality star sisters have completely transformed their bodies and look unrecognizable.
Amy, leading the change, was the first to undergo bariatric surgery, which helped her lose a considerable amount of weight. But since then, she's had two kids and has undergone a divorce, making fans wonder if she's been able to maintain her weight.

Amy Slaton's current weight is believed to be under 250 pounds.
Amy is currently believed to weigh 230 pounds, per People as of Dec. 2023. Given that her starting weight on 1000-lb Sisters was 406 pounds, she has lost a total of approximately 176 pounds.
When we first met Amy, she had dreams of wanting to have kids, but her weight made this difficult, not to mention dangerous. That said, she followed her doctor’s diet and exercise plan in Season 1, finally earning approval for gastric bypass surgery by the season finale.

Right after having the surgery in 2019, Amy out she was pregnant with her first child, making it unclear how much weight she had lost prior to becoming pregnant.
Amy gave birth to son Gage in November 2020 and second son Glenn in July 2022.
In February 2023, Amy and her husband Michael Halterman separated, and he subsequently filed for divorce in March 2023.
While a divorce could prompt someone to give in to their bad habits, Amy seems to be doing well.

Tammy Slaton is believed to currently be under 300 pounds.
Tammy is estimated to weigh about 285 pounds as of December 2023, per People. When 1000-lb Sisters first premiered, she weighed approximately 605 pounds, but she began gaining weight, peaking at 725 pounds. In total, Tammy lost over 400 pounds.
In Season 3, she agreed to go to rehab for food addiction and did show some progress while there. But she left prematurely and once home, continued to gain the weight she lost back.
In order to follow in her sister's footsteps and qualify for bariatric surgery, Tammy knew she had to make a real change.

By Season 4, Tammy had finally reached the required weight that would allow her to undergo bariatric surgery, per The U.S. Sun. Her weight dropped from 700 pounds to 550. She then had the bariatric surgery in July 2022, which a source told the Sun helped her shed 150 pounds right off the bat. But to maintain and continue losing weight, she'd really have to work at it.
Article continues below advertisementAlong the way, Tammy fell in love. In October 2022, she married Caleb Willingham, who she had met at a treatment center. But in July 2023, she shared the heartbreaking news that Caleb had passed away.
Amy and Tammy's half brother, Chris Combs, also lost a significant amount of weight.
Amy and Tammy's older half brother Chris also struggled with his weight. Making frequent appearances on 1000-lb Sisters, Chris a fast food restaurant manager, weighed around 450 pounds at the beginning of his weight loss journey.

According to fans' comments on his social media, Chris may have had some trouble keeping the weight off. "Bless him! Weight gain for sure, but it’s so hard unless u watch what u eat daily! Love u Chris," wrote one fan on Instagram in June 2023.
