Does anyone know? There were also variations like LX-i and Si, but the "i"'s which stood for injection or fuel injected where dropped on all models except the Si, which is why that still has an "i". http://hondafaq.com/Library/Articles...ry/Accord.html Reply 0 0 CivicsRdBest View Public Profile Find More Posts by CivicsRdBest View iTrader Profile Old Jul 13, 2005 Share Share Options #5 robbclark1's Avatar robbclark1 Retired suspension supermod. The 4 cyl mustang in late 80's early 90's also was an LX. Toyota used DX for awhile for the corolla. I don't know where they came up with the silly names, but I still don't think they mean anything. Like some companies use SE, but they aren't considered special editions whereas other companies make them special editions. I dunno.
