I have seen "jajaja" and also "jejeje" in several posts. I can't find a translation. I am guessing its laughing, but hope someone will clarify. Thanks!

Hola! You are exactly right. It's the exact same thing as when English-speakers use "hehehe" or "hahaha."

But, in spanish you don't really pronounce an "h" at the beginning of words (take "hola" for example), so "hahaha" would just sound like you're visiting the doctor for a sore throat - Say "AAAAAAAAAAAA."

However, the "j" in spanish makes the same sound as the english "h," so they just use the j! (Like the words "jugo de manzana" or "Jarritos"!

I have seen three different types: jaja, jeje and jiji. They represent different types of laughs.

jajaja in Spañol equal hahaha in English and as you said it's an abriviation to laughing , you are right , you are welcome.
