Step 1: Log in to your Instagram account via the web.

Note: You cannot delete your account from the Instagram app.

Step 2: Once logged in, go to the Delete Your Account page from the web. Again, this page is not available on the app.

Step 3: Select an option from the dropdown menu that asks “Why are you deleting your account?”

Re-enter your password to continue.

Step 4: Click on the red “Permanently delete my account” button at the bottom of the page.

• Your Instagram account, profile, posts, stories, after deletion, will not be accessible to any user on the platform. Not even you.
