What is an AVA?

The acronym AVA stands for « Affiliation Verification Agent ». There are two types of AVAs:

Pro-AVA: an individual mandated by a Professional Association to confirm the applicant’s status for professional digital signatures.

Corpo-AVA: an individual authorized by a company (or organization) or a business unit to confirm the applicant’s employment status for a corporate digital signature.
