It’s that time on Love Island, to see if heads will be turned – it’s time for Casa Amor.

As six new guys and six new girls join the show tonight, here’s everything you need to know about how Casa Amor works and what to expect – besides more drama.

When does Casa Amor start?

The next episode of Love Island hits our screens tonight (Monday 26 July) at 9pm on ITV2, when Casa Amor is set to begin.

What does Casa Amor mean?

Casa Amor means “Love House” in Spanish.

How does Casa Amor work?

Casa Amor will see the boys and girls on the island seperated for a few days.

Half the existing islanders – in this case the boys – are whisked away to a second villa, where there will be six new girls waiting to meet them.

Meanwhile, the original Love Island girls will stay in the main villa, where they will be joined by six new boys.

As the islanders all get to know each other, it will act as a test as to whether they are happy to stay in their current couples, or if their heads will be turned with temptation all around them.

There is sure to be plenty of drama as we discover who will stay together and who will recouple.

Where is Casa Amor?

This season, Casa Amor is in a new building, with its own Hideaway.

The second villa is situated in the same part of Mallorca as the main filming location for the series.

A teaser clip released on Love Island: Aftersun showed it is behind the main villa, with the new contestants seemingly only a few hundred metres from the islanders’ existing home.

In a first look at the new villa, host Laura Whitmore said on Aftersun: “The time has come. A brand new villa is complete. It’s a new location for the new temptations. And for the first time ever, with its very own hideaway. Get ready for Casa Amor.”

How did the current housemates react to Casa Amor?

It’s safe to say the boys were pretty excited when they found out they were heading to Casa Amor.

A teaser for tonight’s episode, showed the boys getting a text which told them it’s time to sneak out for Casa Amor.

After jumping around giggling together, they make their exit from the villa without the girls noticing.

Liberty is the one to discover the boys are gone, as she walks out into the empty poolside area and gasps with shock.

Some islanders are left wondering whether their partner’s heads will be turned, and as the girls later pack the boys’ suitcases, some are sure to give them little momentos so they don’t forget them.

But Chloe and Hugo, who are in a friendship couple, are excited to be single and surrounded by plenty of new islanders to get to know.

As always, there is plenty of drama, and fun and games on the cards, with Casa Amor.
