The pair have been dating for less than a year as they were spotted together in Hawaii in September 2021.

On February 28, 2022, news broke that the couple was engaged.

Underwood revealed the news to PEOPLE magazine that Monday.

The couple spent a romantic weekend getaway in Big Sur, California just after Colton’s birthday.

“I couldn’t have pictured a more beautiful place to celebrate an amazing milestone in my life and relationship.”

He concluded: “I’m extremely happy! 2021 was the most transformative year of my life.

“Starting 2022 off with my best friend, teammate and now fiancé is something I never thought was going to be possible.”
