NLE Choppa is a rapper from Memphis, Tennessee, who became a viral sensation.

The young rapper, whose real name is Bryson Lashun Potts, rose to stardom after releasing Shotta Flow in January 2019.

The video to the track gained 10 million views in just a month, which led to a remix with rapper Blueface.

He released his debut studio album Top Shotta on August 7 the following year, featuring rap royalty like Lil Baby, Roddy Ricch and Chief Keef.

Around a month later, Choppa pledged to stop rapping about violence, saying he had more important topics to discuss and that he wanted to “spread positivity and wake people up”.
