In my opinion, there are multiple qualifications for a person to become a president. Someone who is a president holds a lot of power in their hands. Therefore, it is very important that they are knowledgeable and a reliable candidate. Whether you like a specific candidate or don’t like either, your vote is a vote and it counts toward who is going to be making your country 's laws, so take it seriously. Below, I am going to explain some qualities a president must have in order to be successful. A qualification I believe is important, is that they have experience in the field of politics. To me, whether the president has a political background or not, does play a role in if they are going to be a successful politician. In my opinion, what is important is they have already learned from their mistakes and are heading in the right direction, not just from scratch. To me, I find it hard to believe that many people would be able to trust someone with less or no experience at all. All in all, an important qualification a candidate should have is that they 've had previous involvements in politics within their lifetime. Once again, the reason experience is important in this position is to establish trust with the people. An attribute I believe a president must hold are leadership skills. This is by far the biggest qualification they must have. It is necessary for the candidate to be able to take action in certain situations as well as work well with others to make the correct
