While the show Pit Bulls & Parolees largely focuses on people rescuing dogs, the show also has a human star named Tia Maria Torres. Pit Bulls & Parolees fans have also been introduced to Tia’s daughter Mariah and her boyfriend, Marcel, which left fans wondering what happened to the couple.

However, once she became inundated with requests for an explanation on social media, Mariah responded with a general explanation of what went wrong in her relationship and marriage.

According to Mariah, her marriage to Marcel ended after only a few months because the couple realized they “wanted different things” in life.
