Step 1 – Check Your Battery

Some batteries work better than others, so make sure to check your battery ensure it’s working to heat up and vaporize the Delta 8 distillate. Whatever battery you choose should come with its own troubleshooting steps, so review these procedures to make sure your batter is properly functioning before moving on to the next troubleshooting steps.

Step 2 – Take a Long Draw

If the battery is properly functioning, the most likely cause for your vape cartridge not hitting is that the distillate has thickened as it cooled down and isn’t heated up enough to liquify or vaporize. The next three steps are all focused on how to get your Delta 8 distillate liquefied and moving again. The first option is to take a deep draw on the vape cartridge. In many cases, this will be enough to get the distillate heated up and moving again.

Step 3 – Hold Down the Button

If taking a deep draw doesn’t provide enough heat to get the distillate flowing, hold down the button on your cartridge for a few seconds until it blinks. Then, try to take a draw from the cartridge. If the Delta 8 distillate is still not flowing, move on to step four.

Step 4 – Use a Hair Dryer to Heat the Delta 8 Distillate

If your Delta 8 distillate is still too thick to move through the vape cartridge, you may need to take steps to heat up the liquid. Sometimes, you can achieve the desired results by allowing the cartridge to sit in a warm spot like a windowsill for a few minutes. You can also jumpstart the process by using a hair dryer to warm up the distillate. Then, try step two again. If your cartridge still isn’t hitting, there may be a clog in your mouthpiece.

Step 5 – Check for Clogs in the Mouthpiece

As you use your Delta 8 cartridge, residue from the distillate can enter the mouthpiece where it will cool and thicken. This can lead to clogs that prevent the vape from functioning properly. When this happens, you should follow step four above to melt the distillate residue and get the cartridge flowing again.
