The 63rd running of the Daytona 500 takes place this coming Sunday at Daytona International Speedway in Daytona Beach, Florida.

The race, per usual, is set for 200 laps – going 500 miles (hence, the 500 in Daytona 500).

What time does the Daytona 500 start and end?

The 2021 Daytona 500 will start at 2:30 p.m. ET.

FOX TV listings have the race running from 2:30 p.m. ET to 6:30 p.m. ET. The Daytona 500 typically runs around three and a half hours in real time, excluding the pre and post-race hoopla.

Last year’s Daytona 500 spanned over two days as it was suspended on Sunday due to rain, and wrapped up on Monday.
