Yellowstone cast discuss the death of Sheriff Donnie Haskell

Yellowstone fans had to wait five-months longer than expected for series four to begin on Paramount Network. When it did arrive though, viewers were hooked from the very beginning as the drama has continued to unfold at the Montana ranch but now the end is near. Express.co.uk has everything you need to know about watching the end of season four.

What time is the Yellowstone season 4 finale on tonight?

The Yellowstone season four finale will air tonight, Sunday, January 2, on Paramount Network.

This 10th episode is going to make its debut at 8pm ET (Eastern Time) on Paramount Network and CMT.

There is another chance to watch the finale as it will replay at 10pm and 12am ET on Paramount Network the same evening.

Unlike the rest of the season, episode 10 is going to be longer than usual.

Yellowstone season four is going to end with a two-hour finale so there could be something big in store for fans.

Season four saw the shocking departure of Sheriff Donnie Haskell (played by Hugh Dillon), a life-long friend of John Dutton's (Kevin Costner) in episode eight.

He was gunned down during a robbery at a cafe where John and Rip Wheeler (Cole Hauser) tried to help.

But ultimately, one of the robbers shot multiple times at Donnie in the chest, leaving the voice of his daughter calling out for him over his radio as he died.

There was more drama to come in the penultimate episode entitled No Such Thing as Fair.

Beth wanted to highlight what the Market Equities was planning so roped in Summer Higgins (Piper Perabo) to stage a protest with a camera crew.

Unfortunately, things got out of hand and it led to Summer being arrested again which could lead to her spending time in prison.

John was furious with his daughter as he has a connection with Summer and hated that Beth chose to throw her under the bus for her own gain.

This resulted in John raging at Beth and telling her to leave the ranch.

Clearly heartbroken, Beth goes to the bunkhouse where Walker (Ryan Bingham) is seen consoling her with a song.

From the way Rip was looking at him, this could prove to be a big mistake on Walker's part if he tries to get between him and Beth.

So it could all boil over when the Western drama returns for its final episode.

Yellowstone season four will reach its conclusion on Paramount Network tonight [January 2].

A synopsis for the two-hour finale has not yet been released by the channel.

However, the title for the episode to come is Grass on the Streets and Weeds on the Rooftops but what will this mean for the Dutton family?
