Question

When and how do I prune Vanilla Strawberry hydrangea?

Answer

You can get out those pruning shears and cut back your Vanilla Strawberry now! We recommend cutting back by at least 1/3 in late winter to encourage strong stems, and then blooms will come from new growth. I’ve shared a video that will show how to cut back: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KdFTkk_tiW8. Happy Spring and happy gardening!
