When And Where To Watch RUDOLPH THE RED-NOSED ...

December is in full swing, but if you're looking for a little extra holiday cheer this year, you can always turn to the classics. Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, Frosty the Snowman, The Grinch, and other animated specials are airing all month long on various television networks, and possibly streaming services.

One beloved special is Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, the 1964 classic stop motion animated television special about about Santa's famous red-nosed reindeer. The hour-long special follows the adventures of the young stag with a bright red nose who runs away from the North Pole along with Hermey, a misfit Elf who dreams of being a dentist, and Yukon Cornelius, a prospector who has spent his entire life in search of silver and gold. The triio eventually wind up on the Island of Misfit Toys, but the adventure doesn't stop there. Here's the official synopsis:

Sam the snowman tells us the story of a young red-nosed reindeer who, after being ousted from the reindeer games because of his beaming honker, teams up with Hermey, an elf who wants to be a dentist, and Yukon Cornelius, the prospector. They run into the Abominable Snowman and find a whole island of misfit toys.

Here's when Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer will air on Freeform's "25 Days of Christmas."

Unfortunately, for those of you who have cut the cable cord, your streaming options are limited. Rudolph is not available to watch for free on any of the main streaming services such as Netflix, Hulu, Peacock, Paramount+, or Disney+. However, you can rent or buy it on Amazon Prime Video or Vudu where you can buy it for $9.99.
