The Titanic struck the iceberg at 11.40 pm on Sunday 14 April, 1912.

She finally sank beneath the waves at 2.20am on Monday April 15, 1912.

It took 2 hours and 40 minutes (160 minutes) from the collision to her final disappearance beneath the waves.
