He is 11 months tomorrow. He kisses (albeit with his mouth open and sometimes his tongue hanging out! Yuk), also hugs and leans in to your face and likes touching forehead to forehead. I know other babies who aren't affectionate really at all and just like a cuddle when going to bed.
KellyP1975 Posted 10-01-15My twins are 1 in 4 weeks and the last couple of weeks have been cuddling and giving me kisses. It's so lush yours will do it and it will be lovely <3
yub135 Posted 11-01-15My lo is11months on the 18th shw isn't cuddly any more used to love a cuddle :-( She does pat my back and say ahhh when I ask for a cuddle lol and does the fish impression for a kiss or mouth open wide. All babies are different my lo just bundles us now when on the floorAdvertisement | page continues below
ravs1 Posted 11-01-15My son was very cuddly and affectionate. He loved giving sloppy kisses n cuddles but my daughter is very 'stay away from me'. The only person she accepts cuddles from is her big brother and she dodges kisses from me. She can't stand being picked up either.
jennileah Posted 11-01-15My little girl is 11 months on the 21st and until this week it was clear she enjoyed my company but really didn't give a hoot whether she had cuddles or not. Very independent. The past week she has hugged a toy for the first time and put her head on my knee multiple times for comfort. She has started trying to hug the dog as well. I thought she was never going to do it but she has suprised me- mMummyPallant Posted 11-01-15My lg has just started giving kisses with a mwah! sound while doing it. She only kisses me, her daddy and her big sister. She will put her arms out for cuddles and says aahh. They all do different things when they're ready. My friends lb hates cuddles and kisses and crawls away as quick as he can!
MissLCH Posted 11-01-15Same as Shay shes an affectionate baby loves kisses and cuddles and gives them as well but my older son never did. He does now he's coming up to 4!- pPardz9 Posted 11-01-15My boy is almost 11 months. He doesn't give kisses but he loves to get hold of my face and bring his face closer. Likes to put his cheeks on my cheek. And now I can blackmail him to come to me lol. I cover my face with my hands and pretend to cry, he comes to me straight away and tries to move my hands out the way. I only use that technique when his dad's holding him and dad starts saying he loves him more haha!
Klinta Original PosterPosted 11-01-15Wow, it looks like mine's the only one, then 😱- sS_a_r_a_h_ Posted 11-01-15My lo is nearly 11 months. About a month ago she started doing cuddles but I really had to teach her. Now she does it all day cos she knows she gets a big reaction. She's obsessed with them and always laughs loads when she does it cos I get so excited. Then about 2 weeks ago she started doing kisses when you ask and will now do them randomly, really melts my heart. Don't think she would have done either but I am really needy :p and about ten times a day I would try to get her to do a kiss (she didn't). When I did it I would kiss her and go 'kiss' and make a massive fuss going awwwwww and clapping really excitedly when I kissed her. Think she definitely learned from me because both times she did it after me doing it to her every day for a few weeks! Obviously she would of done it eventually though x
