Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2 is nearing its finale, which means players are starting to wonder when the current season will come to an end – and when Season 3 will begin.

Chapter 3 Season 2 of Fortnite kicked off with a bang, bringing the war between the Imagined Order and The Seven to a head with the introduction of tanks, red and blue lines dividing the island, and a driveable Battle Bus.

Doctor Strange won’t be around in the Battle Pass forever.

Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2 will come to an end on Saturday, June 4, 2022, at 4PM ET, as this is when the Collision finale event is scheduled to kick off.

It was previously assumed that the season would finish on June 3, as that was when the Battle Pass was meant to expire, but it looks like Epic Games have pushed the date back by one day.

Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3 is expected to begin on Sunday, June 5, 2022.

While this date hasn’t been confirmed by Epic Games, there’s normally a night of downtime following a season finale. With Season 2 ending on June 4, it makes sense that Season 3 will start on June 5.

First up, it looks like Star Wars villain Darth Vader will finally arrive in Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 3 as both a player skin and a boss fight. Another huge crossover expected in the new season is Indiana Jones.

We don’t know if these skins will be part of the Battle Pass or if they’ll appear in the in-game shop instead, but either way, it’s certainly an exciting time for fans of both of those iconic movie franchises.

On May 25, leakers shared an image of the Chapter 3 Season 2 Battle Pass featuring Darth Vader and Indiana Jones, but there’s no way to confirm if this image is real or fake, so remain skeptical for now.
