Fans of the Power sequel drama Power Book II: Ghost will be delighted to know there is second series coming. The new season finally premieres Sunday, November 21, same day as the US only on Stan.

In addition to confirming the airdate, Stan has dropped a brand new trailer (which you can watch above) for the second season. The trailer contains a hidden surprise for Power fans: the return of 50 Cent and his character Kanan Stark.

The character was killed in the original series of Power, so no doubt there will be many questions about his supposed return.

Power Book II: Ghost's second season continues the story of Tariq St. Patrick (Michael Rainey Jr.), the son of James "Ghost" St. Patrick, who is slowly following in his father's footsteps as a drug dealer. Forced into the choice to take the life of his professor, Jabari Reynolds (Justin Marcel McManus), Tariq finds himself getting further from that which he's been fighting to protect: his family. With Tariq's mother Tasha (Naturi Naughton) in witness protection, Tariq knows he must sacrifice anything to save what's left of his family.

Also returning to the cast of Power Book II: Ghost is Shane Johnson as Cooper Saxe, the attorney prosecuting Tasha, following failed attempts to catch Ghost, Gianni Paolo as Brayden Weston, Tariq's best friend and former roommate at Choate and current roommate at Stansfield, and Mary J. Blige as Monet Stewart Tejada, queenpin of the Tejada drug cartel.

The original success of Power has spawned three other spin-off series in addition to Power Book II: Ghost, The other spin-offs include: Power Book III: Raising Kanan, a prequel into the life of Kanan (50 Cent); Power Book IV: Force, which follows Tommy (Joseph Sikora) to Los Angeles,and Power Book V: Influence, a sequel set in the political world centring on Tate's (Larenz Tate) ruthless rise to power.
