When Will Maleficent: Mistress Of Evil Come To DVD And Blu-ray?

Maleficent: Mistress of Evil is out in theaters this weekend will you be watching? If you are waiting for DVD release here is when we think it will be.

Maleficent was released to the world for us all to enjoy in 2014. Now five years later Disney’s favorite villainess is making her return.

Summer was huge for Disney with so many great movies being released like Toy Story 4 and The Lion King, also earlier in the year we had Avengers Endgame and Captain Marvel. It is safe to say Disney has dominated this year. The last month has been a little dry on movies being released to theater but now you can get your Disney fix with Maleficent: Mistress of Evil coming out today.

There is not more of a better time for Maleficent: Mistress of Evil to be released, just in time for Halloween. If you would rather wait for the movie to be released to DVD and Blu-ray then we estimate it for around three months time, just like Aladdin and Dumbo, meaning we’re looking at January 2020.

Aladdin came to Digital HD two weeks before DVD and Blu-ray. We could maybe see the same with Maleficent: Mistress of Evil but it will be a little while before we know official release dates. It is likely though it will be middle or late January. It depends on which Tuesday release day will fall on as all DVD releases are on Tuesdays.

Disney+ will be up and running from Nov. 12 so we are currently unsure if you will be able to purchase Maleficent: Mistress of Evil digitally. This could mean you will only be able to purchase physical copies through Amazon. When we have more information we will sure inform you if this does happen.  Unfortunately, this also means Maleficent: Mistress of Evil  and any upcoming Disney movies will not be Prime Video for free because of Disney+.

Following on from Maleficent, Aurora (Elle Fanning) is all grown up and she thinks she has found love. Maleficent (Angelina Jolie) thinks otherwise and starts falling into her old patterns, especially when a formidable queen causes a huge rift between the princess and her crazy godmother which threatens the magical lands that they share.
