This question is a hot topic with my friends and family. If only I could convince Madame Leota to stop summoning happy haunts at the Haunted Mansion and peek in to the future, I would ask her what the crystal ball says about a return date for the Disney Dining Plan. As a mom of very hungry young men, the dining plan is often part of our Walt Disney World Resort vacation plans. It allows me to budget in advance for our meals, gives us plenty of reasons to book reservations at our favorite Walt Disney World restaurants, and provides yet another reason to grab that extra Mickey Mouse Premium Ice Cream bar to enjoy during Harmonious.Unfortunately, we do not have a confirmed return date yet for the Disney Dining Plan. Hakuna Matata - no worries though! Every Cast Member I have spoken with has indicated the dining plans are not discontinued but simply temporarily suspended. Now that most Walt Disney World restaurants are open and many of the Disney Character meals have returned, I am hopeful that the dining plan will be returning soon.Be sure to keep checking back with my planDisney pals as we will share updates as they are available.
