When Will The Shamrock Shake Leave McDonald's Menu? - Guilty Eats

The Shamrock Shake at McDonald’s is a seasonal favorite! But the thing about limited-time menu items is that they are not around for long. When will the green favorite leave the menu?

Last year, the popular shake was not available in many markets, so it was frustrating not having one near me. For 2021, though, they were available just about anywhere  — and we couldn’t be happier!

Did you celebrate St. Patrick’s Day with a Shamrock Shake in hand? We have been enjoying the shake since it arrived at McDonald’s before the holiday, knowing it is only here for a short time.

Now that St. Patrick’s Day has come and gone, Shamrock Shake fans (and fans of the Oreo Shamrock McFlurry) are wondering how many more days they have before both of these leave the menu at McDonald’s.

Is the Shamrock Shake still at McDonald’s?

While McDonald’s has not shared an exact date for when the Shamrock Shake will be saying goodbye (until next year), we know that most seasonal menu items are around for 4-6 weeks.

The shake arrived on Feb. 15, 2021, so this means, if it follows the 4-6 weeks rule, that it will be gone by next week, March 22. However, I think McDonald’s may keep it around through March — same for the Oreo Shamrock McFlurry.

Whether it’s March 22 or March 31, get it while you can!

If you have never tried it, you’re missing out! The famous shake features a yummy vanilla soft serve that is blended with Shamrock secret flavors and topped with whipped cream. The Oreo Shamrock McFlurry is almost the same but includes Oreo chucnks.
