bluedream B It is my general understanding that some of the more expensive Bulova watch models are made in Switzerland while others are manufactured in the Pacific Rim area. In what countries are the moderately-priced department store Bulovas ($175.00-$350.00 range) made? I've noticed that below the six o'clock marker there is often a model number listed rather than a country & there is no reference to the watch's origins in the instruction booklet. #1 · Feb 20, 2016 It is my general understanding that some of the more expensive Bulova watch models are made in Switzerland while others are manufactured in the Pacific Rim area. If there is no country mentioned, it is Oriental in manufacture! And that number you mentioned is a reference number for the watch's quartz movement. The model number is found on the back of the watch case. #6 · Feb 21, 2016 The 96G47 listed below the 6 on my blue dial Bulova is what they use to reference the model. There is another number on the back along with the battery replacement type. Would this be the serial number? #5 · Feb 21, 2016 well, there is this, which is current. http://www.bulovaaccuswiss.com/en-US And previously the Accutron branded watches were Swiss made. Here is a Swiss made quartz for example. And you may still find examples like this in some stores I suppose. http://www.amazon.com/Accutron-Bulova-Stratford-Watch-64b112/dp/B003S0FKTA/ Insert Quotes Post Reply
