Shark products are made in China. The Shark brand name, however, is owned by a company that originated in Europe and is, as of 2015, now based in the United States.

Shark products, including the Navigator Lift-Away vacuum, are manufactured in China by Shark’s partners. The full name of the company is SharkNinja Operating LLC, with Shark serving as one of its major brand names. All SharkNinja products, not just Shark vacuums, are manufactured in China.

As of 2015, the parent company, Euro-Pro, also holds offices in several locations throughout China, although it does not manufacture its vacuum cleaners there in house. Euro-Pro was originally a European company, but it is currently headquartered in Massachusetts, with a large secondary branch in Montreal.
