  I’m ordering these for Christmas, and I agree with those who’ve commented that an exact match isn’t necessary- in fact, I think I’ll let my kiddos choose their own avatar! That way they can have fun with RED hair instead of brown, or BLUE eyes instead of brown - it adds to the magic ❤️

  We’re a multi-ethnic household, and often there aren’t exact matches for options like this. I think that’s what makes my kids UNIQUE and beautiful! And they have “different” names too that are never available in personalized format unless it’s special order - I love that! It doesn’t become a problem until the parents make it a problem.

  There wasn’t an option for a child that had all the same features as my child, including eye and hair color. I ordered the book with the closest available option and my daughter LOVED it! She has never commented on the fact that her avatar has brown eyes instead of blue, or much darker hair. She loved seeing her name on the cover of the book, and finding her avatar on every page. I love the variety of professions that were included, and all of the extras to look for. This is not a one time and done book. I bought it for my daughter’s birthday in July, and she quickly found “herself” in each scenario, but she is still looking for all of the extras! When my nephews and niece are older I will definitely buy these for them, just as I bought the Lost Your Name books for them!

What's a personalized search-and-find book?

It’s similar to an I Spy book – but in this one, you’re looking for yourself! And unlike other search-and-find books, this story takes a child on an epic, universe-hopping adventure. As well as finding different versions of themselves in alternative universes, they’ll get to solve oodles of fun puzzles along the way. These books are sometimes also called look-and-find.
