Gold Supporting Member Joined Feb 11, 2013 Messages 482 Reaction score 337 Location North Oregon Coast Well, I have 3 loopers (2 DL4 and one EHX 720) and 3 micro loopers (CT5, MOOD and Tensor). One DL4 at the beginning, the other towards the end and 720 at end before compressor. The MOOD is mixed in with delays, Tensor somewhere and CT5 before 720. Not sure where the BLOOPER will be...eclecto-acoustic

Catch that colored slice of sound. Tuck it in an on/off loop. Hit the loop to expose the looper that has your super sound while you play like a trooper until the right time to hit that loop to hide that looper so you don't become a party pooper. words Click to expand...ha! we’re all different. or maybe i am. in my 40+ years of regularly using various types of live-and-otherwise-looping instruments, i’ve almost never wanted to capture+loop “echo”-type delays, lol. Brings the looper from being a phrase repeater to a musical head-explosion device. Er...splatt machine.

Lots of possibilities and fun to explore.smithguitars

It’s probably cheaper and easier to just put a cheap mini looper at the front (or back, depending on your needs). I’ve had a few cheap minis, TC ditto, Digitech Jamman, Blaxx looper. They’re all decent as a 2nd looper for just messing around.

I’m considering adding a Mood and maybe the new mxr clone looper, as I’m running a w/d/w rig running through the front of the amps, (no effects loop) I’m thinking I’ll put the loopers after my dry out but before my stereo delay and reverb. This way I can get the loops through my wet amps and keep my dry dry. Totally new to this and I was considering using a small mixer to blend signals more accurately but this would probably be over complicating the rig...eclecto-acoustic

That does sound complex, in the back of my mind I’ve been thinking about putting bass and keys through it, but than I want those going through the PA, and working out the switching is giving me a headache

I literally have a scene saved on said mixer for "looper mode". I'm considering starting a thread about it, because dammit I'm proud of my signal routingClick to expand...
