Are they really rare? done like 20 missions havent gotten any yet. any specific mission types they come up in more? #6 japp_02 View Profile View Posts 14 Sep, 2019 @ 7:02pm The link above is very old, however for Beyond game:a) Still true that you get them by shooting sentinel ships in space, you get the product, not the blueprint.b) For the blueprint you must visit crashed freighters and open these pods which are buried or inside the freighter behind a panel that you must shoot with your mining laser. Use the visor to mark these pods, otherwise you're not gonna find them. Regarding this, what you find there are Salvaged frigate modules:https://nomanssky.gamepedia.com/Salvaged_Frigate_ModuleSalvaged Frigate Module is a curiosity that can be exchanged at the Freighter Research Terminal for various blueprints.So you get the BP from that terminal in your freighter, then you can build them using Sentinal dropped parts.Hope this helps :) #8 Shame View Profile View Posts 14 Sep, 2019 @ 7:44pm Any reliable way to mass-farm these Salvaged Frigate Modules? Recently they were ridiculously high, the first one was 300 IIRC and took several hundred to get all the upgrades from the Freighter Research Terminal.They must have patched it down to a reasonable number.Edit: you can probably get all you need for them all by popping cargo pods on freighters. It only took about 5 or 6 freighters to get the few I needed to get the frigate upgrade module BP's Last edited by TooTall1; 14 Sep, 2019 @ 8:20pm #12 Kirshak View Profile View Posts 14 Sep, 2019 @ 8:30pm yeah the upgrades were really really high a few weeks ago, like a few thousands salvaged modules, but it's really low now, I suppose the dev team noticed there was something really odd and patched it, there was a lot and a lot of mini updates recently #13 japp_02 View Profile View Posts 14 Sep, 2019 @ 8:37pm The ridiculous high price for the modules was a bug that the patch notes say to have corrected in past versions, its' not in 2.11 anymore.And when changing freighters: you still have the blueprints of course, blueprints get never lost once you own them. You can (and should) dismantle Installed technology in your freighter, also dismantle command rooms etc. prior of changing the freighter, so you have all materials at disposal when re-installing them in your new one (or almost all, because dismantling tech doesn't return you 100% of materials).
