This walkthrough will guide you through finding Galarian Articuno in Pokemon Sword and Shield's Crown Tundra DLC.

To begin the hunt, you'll need to accept Legendary Clue 3 from Peony in Freezington.

To begin searching for Galarian Articuno, head to the wilderness south of Freezington. You don't have to worry about leaving the main area, as Galarian Articuno is the only bird that stays within the Crown Tundra

When you approach Articuno will create two illusions of itself to try and trick you. The real Articuno will wave its wing, then all three will spin as they descend towards the ground. Pay attention to which Articuno was the real one, then walk up to it to trigger an encounter. If you guess wrong Articuno will fly away, but you can just follow it until it stops and try again.

I recommend NOT encountering Articuno in an area where it is hailing, because the hail will whittle down Articuno's health during the battle, limiting how many turns you get to catch it.

Galarian Articuno is a powerful Psychic/Flying type, so prepare accordingly before the encounter.
