Lexington is one of the largest cities in the state of Kentucky, located about 70 miles east of Louisville. It is the second-largest city in the state and the center of the Bluegrass region in central Kentucky. Blue Grass Airport, the main public airport serving the city, is located in Fayette County, about 6 miles west of the city center. Lexington also has direct access to Interstate 64 and Interstate 75.
