I called Purina and was informed that their dog food is made in Missouri, USA. Some of their treats, unfortunately, are made in China and other countres These I do not buy. Always check the bag because if a product is made outside of the USA, it must state so on the label (sometimes they hide it). All I can tell you is that I asked several times if the Purina/ProPlan dog food that I feed Shelly is made in the U.S. and I was assured it was. I hope this helps you. But Purina does not address the issue of what countries the ingredients come from. Ingredients from China have been implicated in dog illness and death. Do you? | Report After checking with their web site, they say nothing about where the food is made. My dogs vet strongly urged us to take our dogs off the then leading "top" brands around 2006. We switched to Merrick dog food for our 2 dogs who were, ( before the switch ) over weight and our Lab was having seizures. My dogs vet strongly urged us to take our dogs off the then leading "top" brands around 2006. We switched to Merrick dog food for our 2 dogs who were, ( before the switch ) over weight and our Lab was having seizures. Within 1 year our dogs got back to their natural weight and Pepper stopped having seizures. Turned out 98% of the so called U.S. pet foods were and are STILL being made in China! Even after the pet food recall that caused so many pet deaths & other health problems so many dogs & cats experienced from these contaminated products! Stick with Blue Buffalo, Merrick and others actually 100% made of in the U.S. from beginning to end, pet products that don't skimp on quality. Not just bagged here. Even if it says Produced in USA, that is not the same and could mean only that the administrative offices are in the USA or that it is created using raw products from outside the USA. Do you? | Report All Purina dog food is made in the U.S.A. at one of their dry/wet facilities. Two different treats are made in China for good reason. China does not use the breast meat from chickens and they consider breast meat "byproduct". Purina leverages this competitive advantage and uses this chicken directly at the source instead of shipping it.
