On a Buick, it is located on top of the fuel tank. It is set into the module that contains the fuel pump assembly. If you have an access panel under the rear seat or inside the trunk area, whereby you can get to and change the fuel pump assembly, you should be able to remove the access panel and see the sensor where it sits in the fuel pump module or housing.

Hi. the fuel pressure sensor is part of the fuel pump assembly. You will have to remove the fuel pump to replace this. I would go ahead and replace the fuel pump while you are there.You will have to Pull the strainer off the fuel pump and discard it. remove the retaining clip for the fuel pressure regulator so that you can remove the fuel pressure regulator. Disconnect the electrical connections for the fuel pumps and the fuel level sensor. Remove the retaining clip for the fuel level sensor and remove the fuel level sensor by squeezing the locking tangs. the sensor is incorporated in this area.Please rate and god bless.

lOOK UNDER THE REAR OF THE VEHICLE ABOVE THE SPARE TIRE ON A CROSSMEMBER BETWEEN THE FRAME RAILS.

SOURCE: I would like to know were the fuel tank pressure sensor

The sensor is located on top of the fuel pump. It should be black in color. You have an access plate in the trunk to get to the fuel pump without dropping the tank.

The ford spec listed in the ford engine control manual is: General Specifications Item Specification Fuel tank capacity 71.9L (19 gal) Fuel Pressure Hot restart 448-482 kPa (65-70 psi) Key ON Engine OFF (KOEO) 140-415 kPa (20-60 psi) Key ON Engine Running (KOER) 170-280 kPa (25-40 psi) Are you measuring the fuel pressure with a mechanical gauge or are you using a scan tool . If with a mechanical gauge, does the gauge have an air purge? What symptoms does the vehicle present. If running rough you could have a fuel injector leaking. Are you measuring the fuel pressure with the key on engine off? If so, did you cycle the key a few times? Good luck

Appears to be mounted on the fuel pump,& takes at least 4 hours work, just to getto it & then start the reinstall of fuel tank
