Forklift F I just picked up a new 2016 Polaris Sportsman 570 Touring EPS. I have the build date 3-16-16 but it says "Made In Canada" on the rear of the frame horizontal cross link. I thought the manufacturing plant was in Roseau Minnesota or Mexico All sold in the Northeast (I am in Pennsylvania) come from Minnesota and all sold in the Southwest U.S. come from Mexico. I am confused why the one I have clearly says Made In Canada Also am I correct that Polaris makes the engines here in the U.S. where in the past the engines were made in Japan by Robin, that also makes Subaru engines? Please correct me if i'm wrong. #1 · May 23, 2016 I just picked up a new 2016 Polaris Sportsman 570 Touring EPS. I believe Weber made the twins and fuji made the singles. 570 is made in USA. #3 · May 23, 2016 (Edited) There is a plant in Huntsville Alabama too. The Mexican stuff is for global export. You are going to have a hard time finding something that is built entirely in the USA. Final assembly would be more realistic. #4 · May 23, 2016 Fuji made the value line motors prior to the introduction of the 570. I believe they also made the 550. like in most manufacturing, there are parts made globally, than assembled in a certain location. the machine was probably assembled in the US, but the frame may have been manufactured in Canada. Either that or the tourings are made in one plant, and the standards are made in another. wouldn't surprise me. It's my understanding that the Rangers are made in Mexico. #5 · May 24, 2016 Thank You The frame was made in Canada, that's the most logical answer 0 Reply Insert Quotes Post Reply
