It may be behind the screen at either the left or the right side. Look for a strip of plastic buttons and the top button will be identified as "Power" or has a symbol that looks like a "C" sideways facing up with a "I" or a bar inside. That is the international symbol. Pressing it once will power on or off the TV. Watch the VIZIO logo up front. When you power it on, the logo is white. When you power it off, the logo is orange and will dim off later.. Read the user manual for more information, or visit and search the Vizio home site, go to the Support section, and do a search with the model number for a copy of the user manual in a PDF format that you can download.

That usually means a problem in the start up or deflection circuits. Diode, Horizontal ouput or driver transformer. What Chassis is this set, and I will be ableto give you some better information. Rca , GE and phillips need to be diagnosedwith the chassis number. Let me know the chassis.

Unfortunately, what you're describing is a repair issue. You won't be able to address the problem with troubleshooting. There is a part inside the TV that needs to be replaced. If you're under warranty, this will cost you nothing. If you're not under warranty the cost will likely be a minimum of $200 parts and labor. However, be warned that the cost could be considerably higher. You should call the manufacturer for your full range of options. I hope I've provided you useful assistance and that this information allows you to make an informed decision as to how to proceed from here. Please be sure to vote on my response. I hope I've earned a good rating from you today. Please post a comment if you need additional assistance so that I can help you further.

Unplug the TV from the wall. There must be something wrong with your circuit board. Call customer service for what to do to fix your TV or get a new one.

In your TV's menu there should be a wireless setup. You didn't supply the Model of the TV. Here's a manual for a Vizio: http://store.vizio.com/documents/downloads/hdtv/M3D650SV/1185QSG_M3D650SV_B.pdf
