This review may contain spoilers. I can handle the truth.

I've been putting this on for my dog when I go to work and now I feel like a real scumbag. Why didn't anybody tell me the fucking dog dies 😭

i watched this in 5th grade with one of my best friends sitting next to me in class and we were physically unable to stop laughing at this scene where the main kid drinks a soda really dramatically, and then stops, and then does it again. our teacher was extremely confused but was hesitant to actually stop us from laughing at it. it became an inside-joke between the two of us for years and it's still funny today. i get why the movie does that now but that's one of my most distinct memories from childhood. i remember nothing else about this movie.

The dog blooper montage as the end really cured my depression after watching this movie

The acting is kinda bad, and it's just an adequate adaptation at best, but it's wholesome. Plus dogs and bluegrass music are nice.
