Do you apply blush before or after highlighter?

One of the best ways to bring out a natural glow on your cheeks is by applying your favorite Show Me Your Glow Highlighter before your Show Me Your Cheeks Powder Blush. This is the best way to allow the products to work together for the best glowy look that comes off as naturally bright.  If you are looking to go bolder apply it after your blush.

 

Where should you put a highlighter on your face?

A makeup highlighter is a product whose purpose is to bring out the areas of your face that are naturally struck by the sun. Some places we recommend are the top of your cheekbones, a thin line under your brow, down the center of your nose, and your cupids bow. But really there are no rules here. A face highlighter is best used to bring out your ultimate natural glow and help you feel your most naturally bright self. Our highlighter is also a beautiful shimmer shadow perfect for adding some much-needed shine to your eyelids for a shimmery eyeshadow look or to highlight the inner corner of your eye makeup look.

Can you use blush as a face highlighter?

If you’re using Elizabeth Mott blushes, the answer is yes! Our Show Me Your Cheeks Powder Blushes do have their own soft glow, which means you can use it in the same way you would normally use highlighter on the cheeks to give yourself a beautiful soft glow.

Where do you put highlighter on older skin?

If you’re older and still love to do your makeup, don’t worry, a highlighter can still work beautifully for you! The goal at any age is to bring out the areas that are naturally hit by the sun. Make sure to highlight your nose, cupid’s bow, and cheeks. On the cheeks, it’s best to stay higher to bring out your natural beauty and draw your face shape up.

What color highlighter should I use?

If you’re confused about highlighter colors, don’t worry! Elizabeth Mott’s highlighter only comes in one universal shade that works for most skin types. It’s unique in that it uses finely milled pearl particles as the shimmer, and it works with any skin tone and type for the ultimate shine. If you’re choosing to highlight with our Powder Blush instead, you will have three color choices: Bright Coral, Peach Pink, and Soft Pink. Each shade works with different skin tones, depending on how much warmth you want to add to your face (Bright Coral is a lot warmer than the other two!).

 

Highlighter and Blush are two products that are essential to getting your best look perfect, but they can be overwhelming when it comes to learning how to use them.
