Where to Find Black AuguriteBy Nadine DorniedenKenneth Seward Jr.Matthew Adler+25 moreupdatedMar 18, 2022

Black Augurite is an evolutionary item in Pokemon Legends: Arceus needed to Evolve Scyther into Kleavor. Here is how to get Black Augurite in Pokemon Legends: Arceus.

What is Black Augurite

Black Augurite is described as "A glassy black stone that produces a sharp cutting edge when split. It's loved by a certain Pokemon." It's used to evolve Scyther into Kleavor, and nothing else. It may be inspired by the real-world rock-forming mineral called augite, which has no real uses.

Where to Find Black Augurite

There are two methods to finding Black Augurite in Pokemon Legends: Arceus:

  • By defeating or catching Graveler
  • By digging it up from the ground with Ursaluna

Catching or defeating Graveler is defeinitely the easiest of the two methods. Black Augurite is commonly found after defeating the Rock- and Ground-type Pokemon Graveler. Graveler are found in most conditions around Hisui, and are easy to find early on specifically in the Crimson Mirelands around the Bolderoll Slope. They also often jump out of shaking tumblestone.

Black Augurite can also be found by digging for treasure while riding Ursaluna — we think most commonly near cliffsides, but these spawn locations seem to be random and vary.
