| Where To Launch Your Model Rockets? |
|---|
| Are you looking for a place to launch your rockets? Join the club... "literally." The best place to launch your rockets is at the location where there is a local rocketry club that is also flying rockets. They've already scouted the available land, and have made the necessary deals with the property owners to launch there. Because of this, you be launching sooner than if you had to find your own place to launch. Can you launch a model rocket in the park? You can launch a model rocket in a park, provided you have the permission of the property owner as well the local fire department. These limitations, and others, are in line with the NAR Model Rocket Safety Code. |
| Where Can I Find A Local Club? | |
|---|---|
| You can find a place where you can launch a model rocket through your local rocket clubs and the National Association of Rocketry. We have started the process of locating the various clubs (both low-power and HPR rockets) around the globe so that you can find a place to launch rockets near you. The RED icons are National Association of Rocketry clubes, and the BLUE icons are Tripoli Rocketry Association clubs. | |
| Can't find a club in the database that is close to you? | |
|---|---|
Unfortunately, this database is not totally complete. The world is a big place, and we haven't had time to dig through the internet to find all the clubs. Plus, it is constantly changing because new clubs are being formed all the time. Don't fret though. Here are some links that can help you find a local rocketry club near you:

| Can You Help Expand This Database With Your Club's Launch Site? |
|---|
| We'd love to include your club's information into this free world-wide database! Your club will see more flyers at launches, because this directory will be sending a lot more modelers to your club's site. That has to be great for your club, wouldn't you say so? And sending the information to us is easy. Just use the "Contact Form" on the right-hand side of this page with: 1 - Name of the Club 2 - Website or Contact Information 3 - GPS Coordinates of the Launch Pad And that's it! We will handle it from there. |
