Student Ridership

WheresTheBus has the most large-scale student ridership implementations in school transportation. We work with the infrastructure already in place in the school system, coming up with a coherent implementation strategy and ID technologies that work consistently across all school disciplines.

Parent App

When families can access real-time, precise bus stop arrival information, they receive accurate, personalized information immediately, allowing Transportation staff to focus on transportation, not telephones.

School View

School View allows schools to access real-time location and arrival time information for all buses assigned to their school. Rather than calling Transportation inquiring about bus arrivals, school staff can focus on staging students and preparing them to efficiently board incoming buses.

Ruggedized Tablet (MDT)

Fully ruggedized (IP67) tablets are configured to do a wide range of functions including driver messaging, turn-by-turn directions, and student ridership / bus stop validation. A simple, user-friendly interface with easy, powerful, and quick access to information is our priority.

Employee Time & Attendance

WheresTheBus (WTB) Time & Attendance allows users to receive driver time punches directly from WTB Rugged Tablet logins, providing a streamlined employee experience. Actual GPS data can be used to validate time entries against ignition messages and bus depot departures and arrivals. Managers can access a user-friendly interface to view, edit, add, and delete time shifts. The Time & Attendance feature also accounts for various roles, including drivers, aids, field trips, sporting event personnel, and specific job codes. Additionally, payroll integration is seamless, as data can be exported to any payroll software program using a CSV or Excel export.

Field Trip

WheresTheBus (WTB) Field Trip module allows school users and transportation personnel to remotely submit, approve, and manage your trips in one location. Multi-tiered approvals require designated school and transportation personnel to both approve a trip before it is officially submitted and approved. Notifications are automatically sent to stakeholders as the trip progresses through the approval process and reminder emails are automatically sent the day before the trip.
