Based on a comparison of 107 countries in 2022, China ranked the highest in pumpkin, squash and gourd production with 7,325 kt followed by Ukraine and Russia. On the other end of the scale was Djibouti with 0.017 kt, Belize with 0.083 kt and Papua New Guinea with 0.151 kt.

Total pumpkin, squash and gourd production reached 22,806 kt in 2022 in the World according to Faostat. This is 2.21 % less than in the previous year and -4.91 % less than 10 years ago.
