Top 5 ways to clean with white vinegar
1. Limescale
If you have a build-up of limescale around your taps, in sinks or even your kettle, using white vinegar is one way to shift it.
For bathroom surfaces, you can create a mixture to tackle limescale.
Pour vinegar into a spray bottle and add warm water to a 1:3 ratio.
Then spray the area you wish to clean, and leave for up to 30 minutes.
Finally, scrub the residue off and wipe the surface with a soft cloth.

2. Windows
Having streak-free, clean windows is important - and white vinegar can help you achieve this.
First, mix one-part white vinegar to 10 parts warm water in a spray bottle.
Next with a microfibre cloth or paper towel wipe down the window to remove any dust or debris.
Spray the entire windowpane - it's best if you do one pane at a time to prevent drying and streaks.
With a clean dry cloth, rub in circles and focus on any dirty spots.
Finally, use another clean dry cloth to dry the window, doing so quickly to prevent the mixture drying and streaking on the window.

3. Microwave
Our microwaves are often neglected, with food debris and splashes caking the inside.
So, mix equal parts water and white vinegar in a large microwave-safe bowl.
Microwave it for about three minutes and leave the microwave door closed for a further minute.
The steam will cause any caked-on stains to loosen.
Wipe clean and you should find the dirt lifts with ease.

4. Stainless steel pots and pans
If you've burnt on food, left a sauce for too long or just generally have a dirty stainless steel pan - white vinegar can be a lifesaver.
Mix half a cup of vinegar and three cups of water in the pot.
Then bring it to a boil and turn off the heat once it has boiled.
Leave the mixture to cool, which will also leave the stain to soak.
Finally, with a soft cloth or sponge, scrub the inside of the pan until the dirt lifts away.
