BRITNEY Spears is a global megstar with millions and millions of fans around the world.

But she is also mum to her sons, who she shares with her ex-husband, Kevin Federline.

How many children does Britney have and how old are they?

Sean Preston Federline

Born on September 14, 2005, Sean Preston Federline is the eldest of Britney Spears’ two children.

His father is Kevin Federline, one of her former backup dancers and her second ex-husband.

Britney and K-Fed met in 2004, and after three months of dating, the pair announced their engagement.

They got married in September of the same year in Studio City, California.

Sean notably appeared in their TV mini-series Britney & Kevin: Chaotic when he was only a year old.

Unlike his famous mum, he likes to keep himself out of the spotlight, and he lives in Hawaii with his dad.

Jayden James Federline

On September 12, 2006, just two days before Sean’s first birthday, Britney’s second son, Jayden, was born.

However, the singer and Kevin then split up just a few months later.

Britney officially filed for divorce from the former dancer in November 2006.

The split was settled in March 2007.

In March 2020, Jayden shared private details about the family on Instagram Live, revealing that Britney was allegedly quitting music while lashing out at his granddad Jamie.

Like his brother, he lives in Hawaii with his dad.

Does Britney Spears have custody of her children?

Britney and Kevin went back to splitting custody of Sean and Jayden when Britney’s years-long conservatorship ended.

She previously lost custody of the two boys in 2007 after a breakdown that saw the distressed star shave her head.

At the time the judge granted full custody to Federline.

Over the years, custody of the kids has changed, but since 2019 he has 70 percent custody, while the  singer gets 30 percent of unsupervised custodial rights.

In early 2023, Britney agreed that her children could move to Hawaii to live with their dad Kevin and his new wife.

What does Britney pay Kevin Federline in child support?

Britney has been paying her former partner Kevin $20,000 a month in child support as well as their children’s tuition and school costs, TMZ reports.

She has also been paying for their clothing, extracurricular activities, and many other expenses to the tune of nearly $35,000 per month.

In 2018, Kevin asked Britney to increase her money for child support from $20,000 to $60,000 a month, citing that “the kids are older and the financial circumstances of the parties are significantly different than when the child support was originally resolved.”

Britney was also ordered to pay K-Fed $100,000 to cover his legal fees and expenses during their negotiations, the Blast reports.
