Who is Alec Baldwin’s wife Hilaria?

Hilaria was born in Boston, Massachusetts, on January 6, 1984.

She is known as an American yoga instructor, entrepreneur, podcaster, and author.

The 38-year-old famously co-founded a chain of New York-based yoga studios called Yoga Vida and has also released an exercise DVD and health book.

Since getting together with Alec, 64, she has also appeared in the movie Blind and the TV show Nightcap.

How many kids do Alec and Hilaria Baldwin have?

Since tying the knot, Alec and Hilaria have welcomed seven children together.

While many might think that the Baldwin household is already full, it was revealed on March 29, 2022, that the couple was expecting their seventh child.

Alec and Hilaria confirmed the news in a statement to People saying: “We have ‘somos un buen equipo’ engraved on our wedding bands. We say that to each other all the time at home — that we’re a good team.

“One of the most beautiful things my children have experienced with a big family is how the heart can grow with every new sibling.”

The couple added: “Our capacity to love continues to expand and we can’t wait to embrace our new little one this fall!”

The news of the couple’s new child came just months after Alec was involved in a fatal shooting on the set of his film Rust that took the life of Halyna Hutchins.

On September 22, Alec and Hilaria welcomed a baby girl as the newest addition to the family.

Their children include Carmen, 8, Rafael, 6, Leonardo, 5, Romeo, 3, Eduardo, 1, and Lucia, 1.

Alec also has a 26-year-old daughter, Ireland Baldwin, from his previous relationship with Kim Basinger, making him a father of eight.

How did Alec and Hilaria meet?

The couple married on June 29, 2012, at the Basilica of St. Patrick’s Old Cathedral in New York City.

Alec told The New York Times that before meeting Hilaria, he wasn’t sure if he would marry again, but she changed his mind.

He said: “I’ve dated a lot of people since my divorce, and have thought a lot about what I wanted and what I wanted to do. I thought about it too much, I suppose. I wasn’t really ready to take that chance and to act until I met Hilaria.”

In June 2020, Alec shared a sweet Instagram post to mark the eight-year anniversary which revealed how they met in a chance encounter in New York City.

He wrote: “8 years ago, I wandered into Pure Food and Wine on Irving Place, on an unseasonably warm February evening.

“My friend, @bocartist and I sat down (outside!) and as I turned to my left I saw a woman who would change my life. Entirely. 8 years today. Thanks for all you’ve given me. You are a gift.”

Hilaria added that Alec’s opening line was pretty smooth, at the time she said: “I was standing near the door with my friends when he walked up and took my hand and said, ‘I must know you’ and I replied ‘You must know me?’ and he then gave me his card.”
