Jack Black is an actor and musician who has starred in blockbuster hits including School Of Rock and The Holiday.

He has worked as a voice actor, director and producer.

Born in California in 1969, Black had a troubled upbringing, his parents divorced when he was ten and he started struggling with drug abuse at the age of 14.

In 1989, Black’s brother died of Aids.

Black was accepted into the college UCLA, but dropped out to pursue a career in Hollywood.

The 51-year-old is now a much beloved actor and musician.

Jack is worth about $50million. 

He broke on to the Hollywood scene in the 2000 film High Fidelity.

Is Jack Black married?

Jack Black is married to Tanya Haden. 

The pair met in 2006 and married that same year.

Haden is an American artist, musician and singer.

She is a triplet, and daughter of Jazz bassist Charlie Haden, and starred in a band with her sisters called, The Haden Triplets.

The two mostly keep their private life away from the public eye, but in an interview with The Sun in 2013, Black revealed that he waited 15 years to ask out his now wife. 

The pair met as teenagers at school, but Black was too nervous to make his move. 

When he does discuss his personal life, he raves about his wife, calling her talented and beautiful.

jack and Tanya’s first son, Samuel Jason was born in 2006, and his second, Thomas David was born in 2008.
