Who is Niecy Nash?

Niecy Nash, whose real name is Carol Denise Betts, is an American comedian, actress, and television host.

The 52-year-old is best known for her appearances on Clean House, Reno 911, and Claws.

Deadline reported on March 24, that Niecy, along with Evan Peters, Penelope Ann Miller, and Colin Ford, will appear in the Netflix limited-series Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story.

She will also appear in the new drama spin-off of The Rookie, titled The Rookie: Feds, which is set to premiere in the fall of 2022.

Nash was previously married to Jay Tucker and Don Nash and has three children.

Nash and Tucker announced their divorce in October 2019, after eight years of marriage.

Nash surprised fans when she announced on Instagram in August 2020 that she had married Jessica Betts.

Who is her wife Jessica Betts and how old is she?

Jessica Betts is a musician from Chicago and worked alongside Nash in 2018 on an episode of her hit series, Claws.

At the time, the comedian shared a behind-the-scenes video from the episode on her Instagram.

Nash surprised fans by announcing her marriage to Betts on Instagram a year after she divorced her ex-husband.

She captioned the picture of the ceremony, “Mrs. Carol Denise Betts. @jessicabettsmusic #LoveWins.”

On Betts’ Instagram, the artist wrote, “Got a whole Wife @niecynash1 #Bettsofbothworlds #LoveWins.”

The couple has kept their relationship private but according to social media, the two may have known each other for as long as four years, with the pair having interacted on Instagram in 2016.

Nash joined the new reality TV series Don’t Forget the Lyrics! on May 23, 2022. The show’s contestants earn cash for knowing the lyrics to popular and familiar songs.

Nash told TV Insider that she joined the show to bring joy to both viewers at home and the contestants.

“The idea of helping people take home bags of money that was like, ‘Yes, please. And thank you,’” Nash told the outlet.

She added, “I think the biggest surprise is that the more you watch as a viewer, the more you think you’re prepared, the more you find out you don’t know.”
