Bodybuilder, actor, Internet personality and self-proclaimed 'World's Scariest Man' Martyn Ford, 40, has become famous for his bulging muscles.

Once a lanky lad who stood at 6ft 8in, Ford was struck down by a cricket injury at the age of 20, which became the turning point in his body transformation.

The tattoo-clad muscleman was distraught by his injury in his youth and started bulking up to gain self-confidence.

He told the Daily Mail: "The injury hit me quite hard and then psychologically I just gave up, I suppose a combination of not training and depression took me right down to that sort of weight."

He began a rigorous weight-training program, which allowed him to put on weight quickly, which he says helped him "feel better about myself".
