'Whose Line Is It Anyway?' Returns To The CW

An iconic improv program is back on TV this week.

“Whose Line Is It Anyway?” premieres on The CW on Saturday, Jan. 8, at 8 p.m. ET (5 p.m. PT). You can also stream the show on FuboTV (offers a free trial).

Hosted by Aisha Tyler, a cast of improv comedians respond to random ideas generated by the host and studio audience to create hysterical bits. The cast stars Wayne Brady, Colin Mochrie and Ryan Stiles.

A variety of special guests join each season to show off their improv skills and create comedy sketches with the veteran “Whose Line” crew. Most recently, Shawn Johnson took on some of the acting challenges. The entertainers bounce concepts off of each other in completely unscripted segments and the one who keeps the segment going the longest “wins.”

The prize? Bragging rights, of course.
