The process is straightforward: submit a quote request, receive an offer, accept the offer, ship with the provided and insured shipping label (you must provide the box), and receive payment. The flow of the process is manual versus other companies that provide the same service; email receipt and response vs. all online. However, the results are the same and receiving the payment takes approximately the same time, if not a day or two faster in some cases. Use the direct deposit option to receive your payment in under 3 business days (my experience). Also, they are willing to negotiate the offer amount depending on the firearm or offer an alternative consigment option.

Cash My Guns offered me a great price for my WW II rifle and my shotgun and honored it when they received it then paid me immediately. One suggestion to anyone sending a long arm, from Fed Ex you can buy a $7 triangular "golf club" box that will easily handle most long arms and is accepted by UPS, the carrier that CMG use.
